Today I woke up with zero energy…. Lot of night dreams…. make my sleep less restorative than usual.
After my morning practice I felt I really needed to bust my body and woke my up.
The result? the creation of this 10 seconds extremely easy smoothie that made my energy level to 100% in few minutes!
- 2 celery stalks
- 5 leaves of basil
- 10 leaves of cilantro
- 0.5 cup of mango (no mango in your fridge? use apple 😉
- 1 big leaf of Kale
- 1 tea spoon of turmeric powder
- 1 pinch of pepper (to activate the turmeric power!)
- 1.5 inch of fresh ginger (I love ginger… you can reduce to 1 inch)
- 1 tea spoon of flax seeds
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of water
Mix everything in your food processor 😉
You can also filter the smoothie to obtain a juice and use the fiber for lunch.
If you do it, my suggestion is to add some avocado, mix again in the food processor to obtain a green cream perfect to dressing a salad!
