Plums Purple Love

Do you like purple? It fuses the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red.

Easy lovely purpley plums to enjoy and share with others. Make a nice caramel and color the plums on it, then you allow them to steep in sweetened balsamic vinegar reduction and spiced up with a cinnamon stick. The plums retain their intense flavor, and the vinegar is both spicy and just sweet enough.


Ingredients: (1 serving)

1 fresh plum

⅓ cup brown sugar

⅓ cup of balsamic vinegar


  1. Rinse and cut the plum in half, remove the stone
  2. In a pan add the brown sugar and let it become a caramel
  3. add the plum into the pan, heart side over the caramel, color them and déglace with the balsamic vinegar
  4. Serve in a beautiful plate and garnish with the syrup.
