GF Amaranth Bread

A VEGAN recipe: Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free  Amaranth & Lentil Bread

An easy and healthy snack for people who follow a gluten free diet. I love eat this bread with a creamy hummus.

INGREDIENTS: (for 8 round breads)P1070760-2.jpg

  • 100g Amaranth flour
  • 100g Lentil flour
  • 100g Rice flour
  • 4 tbs of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbs of instant yeast bread
  • 2 tbs cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbs masala spice
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 tbs cane sugar
  • 1 tbs salt
  • 2 tbs lavender (decoration)
  • 1 cup of warm water

 

THE ART:

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Chop up the carrots. Melt the yeast in a cup of warm water.

In a blender mix together all the ingredient. Add some flour if the dough is too sticky.

Make 8 little balls and layout them in a baking tray. With a knife design a cross on the top of each ball. decorate with lavender seeds.

Cook in the oven for 35 minutes.

Easy to take with you in the office!
